Steve Diesbach

I'm Steve Diesbach, an EPFL engineer in communication systems. I spent a decade in network and security engineering — at CERN, the University of Lausanne and Navixia — before going independent. Today I design, build and operate production software end to end: architecture, code, infrastructure and day-to-day operations. AI is at the core of how I work and what I ship — agent systems, LLM integrations, automation pipelines. One engineer, accountable for the whole system.

Je suis Steve Diesbach, ingénieur EPFL en systèmes de communication. Après dix ans en ingénierie réseau et sécurité — CERN, UNIL, Navixia — je me suis mis à mon compte. Aujourd'hui je conçois, développe et exploite des logiciels de production de bout en bout : architecture, code, infrastructure et exploitation au quotidien. L'IA est au cœur de ma façon de travailler et de ce que je livre — systèmes d'agents, intégrations LLM, automatisation. Un seul ingénieur, responsable du système entier.

My current work spans SaaS platforms used daily by Swiss institutions, consumer mobile apps on iOS and Android, AI agent systems and workflow automation, and security awareness training for corporate teams. I build for foundations, property managers, SMEs and their teams — organisations that need software that simply works, owned end to end by the person who wrote it.

Mes projets actuels couvrent des plateformes SaaS utilisées chaque jour par des institutions suisses, des applications mobiles grand public sur iOS et Android, des systèmes d'agents IA et d'automatisation, et des formations de sensibilisation à la sécurité pour les équipes en entreprise. Je construis pour des fondations, des gérances, des PME et leurs équipes — des organisations qui ont besoin de logiciels qui fonctionnent, tenus de bout en bout par celui qui les a écrits.

I take on a select number of engagements each year: AI strategy and implementation, agent systems, automation, integrations and technical prototypes. You work directly with me — contracts and invoicing go through my company, Thynk Unltd Sàrl.
